Ms. Vorleak Ek currently serves as the Head of Internal Audit Department at LSPD Microfinance PLC, bringing over nine years of extensive experience in financial advisory, audit, and risk management within both international accounting firms and major local group company. In her current role, she leads the development and implementation of the annual risk-based internal audit plan, ensuring it aligns with the institution's strategic objectives and regulatory requirements. Prior to joining LSPD MFI, Ms. Vorleak Ek held several management positions at Ly Hour Group, including Head of Group Internal Audit, where she managed operational and financial audits across diverse subsidiaries such as payment service providers, general insurance, and property development. Her professional background also includes significant experience in M&A services and financial due diligence as a Senior Associate at Deloitte (Cambodia), as well as external audit experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). Ms. Vorleak Ek holds a Master of Science in Corporate Finance (Distinction) from Queen Mary, University of London, which she completed as a Chevening Scholar. Additionally, she holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Finance from CamEd Business School and a Bachelor of Education in English Language from Institute of Foreign Language (IFL) through a four-year government scholarship. Her expertise is further supported by specialized training in Data Analytics for Business, Credit Assessment, and Fraud Management.
